Can Dogs Eat Mushrooms?
⚠️ It depends. Store-bought mushrooms are generally safe, but wild mushrooms can be deadly.
Store-bought mushrooms like white button, portobello, and shiitake are generally safe for dogs when cooked plain. However, wild mushrooms can be extremely toxic and potentially fatal. Since dogs explore with their mouths, they're at risk of eating toxic mushrooms in yards or on walks.
